In this episode, Sean Kneese interviews spoken word poet and founder/host of the Stark Reality Open Mic Night: Viviana Duncan. Viviana talks about how her family immigrated from Buenos Aires, Argentina when she was 10 years old and how she developed a passion for writing and performing poetry as she learned English and "fell in love with the language". She talks about what being an American means to her and how freedom of expression is an important right to her. She also talks about her open mic night and how she got started with it, her experience performing her poetry, and reads one of her poems entitled "Beat" which deals with the topic of retirement and why she believes you should never retire if you are doing something you love. Other topics include the path of discovering yourself as an individual, what separates the artist from the rest of society and more. In this episode Sean Kneese talks to Pasquale Santoro Aka DJ Pat Pervert: punk rock DJ at Otto’s Shrunken Head and political activist/blogger. Pat talks about his early days as a homeless teenager in NYC, his experiences playing with his old punk band Deviant Behavior, the punk scene in New York in the 1970s and 1980s, the origin of punk and alternative music, the history of Otto’s Shrunken Head, and how he got started with DJing. Pat also talks about his blog and some of the political writing he does on it and his views about racism and injustice. Sean gets into a debate with Pat towards the end of the episode about whether hate speech is free speech and whether Nazis should have the right to march.

In this episode Sean Kneese talks to Maria Alvarez and Natascha Beck of the New York based all girl punk band Jigsaw Youth. Jigsaw Youth are influenced by the Riot Grrrl movement, a feminist punk rock movement that started in the 1990s with bands like Bikini Kill and Babes in Toyland. Though the band is influenced by this music, they play their own style and do not wish to be labeled as just another Riot Grrrl band. The band talks about the punk scene in New York and New Jersey, their experience playing shows, bands that have influenced them, how they became interested in punk music, and their goals as musicians. Other topics include Kim Kardashian trying to be punk, the music industry, house shows, "fashion punks", and more.
